Tribal Museum and Tribal Caste Research Centre worth Rs 27 crore being established in Naya Raipur

Raipur, Tribal Museum and Tribal Caste Research Centre is being established at an accelerated pace in Purkhauti Muktangan, Naya Raipur at the cost of Rs 27 crore 27 lakh by Public Works Department (PWD). PWD Minister Mr. Rajesh Moonat informed today that nearly Rs 20 crore have been spent on its construction. This museum and research centre will prove beneficial in conservation and protection of tribal culture.

This Tribal Museum and Tribal Caste Research Centre is being developed on 22 and a half acre land. It will have a museum, a training centre, and research centre, auditorium and other sections. Construction of ground floor of training centre, and structural work of first floor and second floor has been completed and finishing work is in progress. Likewise, structural work of ground floor, first floor and second floor of museum has been completed. In the museum, an auditorium with capacity of 200 viewers is also being constructed. Its finishing work is in progress.
