Raipur, In the ‘Jansamvad’ Call Centre run by State Government for taking feedback of various schemes from common people, nearly seven lakh 90 thousand people have been attended by officials concerned in short span of nearly 11 months, since the day the call centre was established. This information was provided in the review meet of Jansamvad project chaired by Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh today.
Dr Singh spoke to District Collectors of Bilaspur and Sarguja Divisions through video conferencing and took information about the official works. Chief Minister said- It is an important project, through which we are recieving information about attendance of teachers in government schools, attendance of Patwaris in Headquarters, opening time of fair price shops and aanganbadi centres etc. All the district collectors should take benefit of this information available to address the persistent grievances in the areas concerned and to ensure progress of schemes. Jansamvad Project was commenced at hands of Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh on September 18 to establish direct dialogue with citizens of the state. Under this project, an ultramodern call centre is being run in Utility Building in Secretariat (Mahandi Bhavan) in Naya Raipur.
In the meeting, Principal Secretary of Information Technology Department Mr. Aman Kumar Singh informed that through Jansamvad Call Centre, total seven lakh 90 thousand people from all districts of state were spoked to nearly 20 minutes each and feedback regarding implementation of various schemes was taken. Information so collected was forwarded to District Collectors. Chief Minister said that if in any area implementation of any scheme is required to be paced up, then Collector of the concerned area should take personal interest to ensure satisfactory progress in the implementation of the scheme. Feeback of common people is extremely important for improving administration and ensuring better implementation of the schemes. Chief Minister said- after the wages under MNREGA are transferred into their accounts, many a time labourers remain unaware of this information. In this case, ‘Munadhi’ (general announcement) should be done in respective villages to inform labourers about transfer of wages into their accounts, and notice regarding the same should be put up on notice boards of Gram Panchayats concerned. Dr Singh said that if in any particular cluster of villages in the district the progress of a particular scheme is found slow, then a team of officials should be sent their to hold a camp for redressal of grievances and to ensure that the eligible beneficiaries get to avail the schemes.
In the meeting, Dr Singh also reviewed progress of Sanchar Kranti Yojana in Bilaspur, Korba, Janjgir-Champa, Raigarh and Mungeli district of Bilaspur Division, Sarguja, Koriya, Balrampur, Jashpur and Surajpur district of Sarguja Division, infrastructure related works, aabadi patta distribution, Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana, wage payment under MNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Mukhyamantri Pension Yojana, electricity bills and various electricity related applications from rural areas, tendupatta wage distribution etc.
