Raipur, Secretary to Governor, Mr. Suredra Kumar Jaiswal today reviewed the preparations for the ensuing Independence Day celebrations with all the concerned departments at Raj Bhawan. He added that National flag will be hoisted on the day and Swagath Samaroh will be held in the evening. He called upon the senior officers to shoulder their responsibilities and ensure successful celebrations. The distribution of invitation cards and arrangements for transportation of Freedom Fighters to and fro to the Raj Bhawan will be looked after by the District Collector Raipur. Municipal Corporation Commissioner will look after the cleanliness of the Raj Bhawan premises, arrangement of colourful National Flags and cleanliness of lawns. The security arrangements will be in the hands of District Collector and Superintendent of Police. The meeting was attended by the senior officers of the district administration.
