526 constables ready to go on field after nine-month of difficult training at Police Training School of capital city Chief Minister extends congratulations and greetings
Raipur,In the Convocation Parade Ceremony of Police Training School of Mana, Raipur today, Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh appreciated the fact that 345 out of 526 constables, who are about to go on field after nine difficult months of training in this school, are women. All the trained male and female constables with will be appointed in various battalions of Chhattisgarh Armed Force. Dr Singh gave away shields, certificates, etc to the winners of various competitions held during the training of constables, on behalf of the school. Dr Singh congratulated on successful completion of their training.
Dr Singh said in his address to the programme- For the first time in the history of Chhattisgarh state, women will be joining our armed forces. 526 constables who performed the passing out parade included 345 women and 181 men. Chief Minister said that the spark in the eyes of these daughters of Chhattisgarh shows their confidence. The ceremony was attended by Mr. AN Updadhyay, Director General Home Guard Mr. Girdhari Nayak, Home and Finance Department Principal Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain and other senior officials and families of new constables.
